There are three categories for partners of Australian citizens, permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens wishing to migrate to Australia.
- Spouse visa for married partners,
- Prospective Marriage visas are for fiancés (s).
- Common Law Relationship visas are for de facto partners.
